Brian and his wife Linda founded what has become Global Financial Partners in 1986, after seven years with a Fortune 500 energy service company, where they traveled & lived both foreign & domestic.
However, he wondered often about the “why” of a career choice and chose to make a change to the financial education & wealth management services industry; to help people with the choices they have with their own resources, those now, and resources yet to come. “Its been very rewarding after all these years, to see successful retirements happen, children and grandchildren of clients graduate, marry, and have children of their own; businesses prosper; 2nd homes purchased; dream vacations; and many other life goals be accomplished by my clients. It’s what we do. Help our people understand their choices, navigate the ups & downs of life, and make solid, lifelong financial decisions.”
Brian graduated from the college of business at Sam Houston State University in 1979, and later received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and the Chartered Financial Consultant from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Brian and his wife Linda chose to build a life in Huntsville, Texas in ’87. There, they raised two, now grown, sons; in a college town, close enough to large international airport, and other large city conveniences, and also where a desire to build a ranch, close to their own office building could be achieved, and to raise a family with rural, small town roots.
